We have a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our school who can enthuse and inspire our pupils and give them the best possible education. We also have the opportunity for candidates to lead Maths across the school and be responsible for designing an innovative curriculum and developing teaching, learning and assessment in Maths. The Role
You will:
- Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
About You
You will be a highly motivated and have a growing understanding of how children learn. Above all, you must care deeply about our children and want to help them achieve their best, across the whole curriculum and beyond.
You will a strong classroom practitioner who has high expectations of self and others and is passionate about encouraging all children to achieve success, while having commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote excellent learning opportunities for all.
As the Maths Lead, you will have drive, enthusiasm and a clear vision for excellence in Maths, with a in depth understanding of the primary Maths Mastery curriculum through up to date and relevant CPD and committed to delivering Maths curriculum which is evidence informed and forward thinking.
