Class Teacher KS1/ KS2 job summary

A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented, passionate and ambitious professional to join our friendly team here at Roman Way Academy. We are looking to add to our teaching team in KS1 or 2 for September 2026. In addition to having excellent subject knowledge and a willingness to learn, candidates will need to demonstrate that they have high expectations and will place the children’s learning and wellbeing at the heart of their practice and every decision made. Our school benefits from strong staff retention, reflecting the positive, collaborative culture we work hard to maintain. Even though this is position is advertised as fixed term, there is the possibility for it to become permanent.

You will have responsibility for leading and managing a rich educational experience for your class, creating a welcoming, inclusive and calm environment for all.
