What skills and experience we're looking for

- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status(Unless employed as an unqualified teacher)

  • - Substantial experience of successful teaching of primary age children

  • - Make accurate and productive use of assessment and monitoring strategies, designed to raise attainment and progress; have high expectations of all learners

  • - Able to demonstrate how your role will impact positively on pupil attainment and progress

    -Commitment to keeping up to date with evidence-informed strategies and initiatives, and to ensuring these are communicated effectively to appropriate stakeholders

  • - To be enthusiastic about working within a climate of positive change. - Able to assimilate new ideas and procedures into own practice and model this to others

  • - Ability to successfully organise your own workload and that of others

  • - Ability to work to agreed deadlines

  • - Be an exemplary and innovative classroom practitioner

  • - A commitment to effective inclusion to cater for all needs in a primary mainstream school

  • - Commitment to developing and extending effective community links and partnerships

  • - Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing across a variety of situations

  • - A commitment to adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils in a mainstream school, including those with special educational needs and disabilities

  • - Commitment to ensuring equity, inclusion and a sense of belonging with regards to all aspects of school life

    Cheam Fields Primary Academy is one of 6 schools that make up LEO Academy Trust. Located in Cheam, Cheam Fields is a two form primary with nursery offering 30 hours childcare. Cheam FIelds was inspected by Ofsted in January 2019 and was found to be good in all categories. The inspectors found that "You have developed leadership at all levels. You have ensured that senior and middle leaders know the school’s strengths and areas for improvement. Strong subject leaders ensure that priorities are addressed. Senior leaders routinely check that pupils are meeting targets and making progress. You have developed a
