What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an energetic and inspirational teacher to support the teaching and learning of our KS2 pupils. Someone who is passionate and enthusiastic and who can create engaging lessons to inspire a love of learning in our students. We are a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with our curriculum
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued
- Differentiate to meet the diverse learning needs of our students so they can achieve their best
- Implement effective classroom management strategies promoting positive behaviour.
You will:
- Have QTS
- Have a strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices
- Be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with the year group team and wider community
- Have a passion for education and a commitment for fostering a love of learning in students
- Be kind, caring and understanding and good role model for our pupils
- Be sensitive to the wide range of children’s needs experienced in main stream schools
