What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, positive and child-centred teacher to be a part of our team here at Grange; where we Nurture Excellence Together. Grange is a three form-entry primary school, actively involved in local partnerships, and opening a brand new Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) in September.

Due to one of our amazing teachers moving on after 5 excellent years, we need a Class teacher from September 2026. The post is for one year in the first instance, as there has been a significant drop in pupil numbers across South Ealing this year, and we are unsure of future forecasts. The successful candidate will have a collaborative, solution-focused mentality and a therapeutic approach to behaviour management. You would join a highly experienced and stable staff team, in a school with hugely supportive parents and Governors. As such, applications from ECTs are welcome.

What the school offers its staff

Grange is located 2 minutes’ walk from South Ealing tube station. We are a diverse school and have a committed, friendly work force where everyone is valued and appreciated for their hard work. We have a wellbeing committee, opportunities to take PPA from home, an amazing parental community and supportive Governors. Grange is also a leading school for race equity and anti-racist practices, and actively welcomes applications from global majority applicants.

Further information about the job

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
Visas cannot be sponsored.
If you're interested in teaching or training to teach in England as an international citizen, we can help you understand your next steps.

Commitment to safeguarding

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
