About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptional KS1 Teacher to inspire and motivate our young learners. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons, adhering to the national curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and a love of learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing targeted support and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Have a strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a positive, nurturing approach.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS).
  • Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum including phonics.
  • Be passionate about early years education and have a genuine commitment to child-centred learning.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be highly organised, adaptable, and reflective.

  • Have a passion for outdoor learning and the natural environment.
