The Compass Partnership of Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join John Ray Junior School in Braintree, Essex, starting in April 2026. This is a fixed-term role until 31 August 2026, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position from September 2026. A later start date may be considered for the right candidate and applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed.

Our school is a four-form entry junior school catering for children from 7-11. We work in close partnership with our neighbouring infant school as well as other local primary schools.
