• Ability to develop and sustain good relationships with children, staff and parents
• Good communication skills
• Successful classroom practitioner at Key Stage 1 and/or 2
• Substantive evidence of successful teacher training
• Enthusiasm and energy
• High expectations regarding teaching and learning
• Ability to work as a team member
• Flexible and positive approach
• Resilience when dealing with challenging behaviour
