Embark on a rewarding journey with Capella House school, a unique and innovative special school shaping the future of education for pupils aged 4 to 16 with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). Capella House is not just a school; it's a forward-thinking community.
Capella House stands out for its unique approach to education. Our classes, with a maximum of 7 pupils, are supported by dedicated teachers, HLTAs, TAs, and our own team of speech, occupational therapists and assistants. We take pride in our inclusive and motivating teaching, delivering a bespoke curriculum adapted from the National Curriculum, supported by regular interventions. All our KS4 pupils have opportunities to access a range of qualifications including Entry Level, Functional skills and GCSE.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and committed EYFS / Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 teacher to join our Primary site from September 2025 on full time basis, covering maternity leave for 12 months.
Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be fast learners, and have the ability to work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Whether you bring experience from mainstream education with a demonstrable interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or from a special education background, we encourage you to apply.
