Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary
St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School, a very successful school part of the St Thomas Catholic Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate teacher to join our teaching team. This post is temporary maternity cover in a Reception class from January/February 2025.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about learning as well as enthusiastic, inspirational and committed to raising standards within our school. You will be part of a skilled teaching team who build on their experience by showing willingness to teach across all primary key phases.
You will be someone who wants to be part of a lively, skilled and professional team; are passionate about learning and wish to make a difference to our pupils; be able to motivate and inspire the children, offering both challenge and enjoyment.
We can offer a strong Catholic ethos, positive, happy children who enjoy learning; friendly, motivated and enthusiastic staff and excellent opportunities for professional development.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required and all schools are committed to the safeguarding and well-being of our pupils.
