You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils
  • Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
  • Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the holistic development of children, delivering high-quality teaching that is engaging, innovative, and aligned with Catholic values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the learning experience.
  • Actively participate in the Catholic life of the school, including leading assemblies and liturgical events.
  • Promote a positive attitude towards learning, behaviour, and the values of the Catholic faith.
  • The Ideal Candidate Will:

    • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
    • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and experience in delivering high-quality lessons.
    • Demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to the spiritual, moral, and academic development of children.
    • Be willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
    • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Be committed to ongoing professional development.
