What skills and experience we're looking for
Degree or equivalent
Qualified Teacher Status
Teaching experience in the relevant Key Stage(s)
Ability to work effectively in
a team
Proven track record of good and/or better teaching
Using a positive approach to promote excellent learning behaviour
Confident and competent user of ICT
Excellent understanding of the principles of inclusive teaching and experience of teaching children with special educational needs
Excellent understanding of the relevant Curriculum and its implementation
Understanding the principles of effective ongoing assessment
Understanding of the principles underlying cross-curricular teaching and learning
High expectations of everyone
Willingness to use variety of teaching strategies to engage all learners
Commitment to the personal welfare and safeguarding of children
Committed to actively supporting the Christian ethos of the school

The Governors, Staff and Pupils of Christ Church Primary School are looking to work with a strong teacher to join our dynamic team in our Ofsted-rated GOOD school.
This position would be suitable for anyone with QTS, including ECTs, who would access our ECT programme and support.
This position is being offered on the Main Pay Scale for 1 year in the first instance.
