Full-time Maternity Cover from Sept 2026 for 1 year

Priory Primary is a small, friendly, busy, multi-cultural school in the heart of Bedford town. We have a strong reputation for the classroom inclusion of a significant percentage of pupils with additional needs. We are seeking a very special teacher who can balance the welfare of our pupils with the need to raise their attainment. You will be well supported by our amazing colleagues, teachers and support staff, as well as by active and engaged senior and subject leaders.

The post may be suitable for an ECT whose Initial Teacher Training placements gave them experience of working in schools with a high percentage of EAL pupil and the classroom inclusion of multiple pupils with a SEND.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
