St John's Church of England Combined School (Good, Ofsted April 2022) is a friendly and successful school where both children and adults work together a strong, nurturing team who believes and values staff and children as life-long learners. The school is an academy that is part of the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust, a multi academy trust which offers a range of support and continuous professional development and networking opportunities.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated teacher with high expectations who can model outstanding practise. The position

We are looking for a part-time teacher who:

  • Will put the children in St John's school at the heart of their teaching and leadership practise
  • Is an outstanding practitioner and will model quality-first teaching approaches
  • Has a ‘can-do’ positive attitude and will support the high ambitions of the school.
  • Values all children and can promote inclusion through restorative practise
  • Can work well with the team and children raising the achievement of pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential 
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Able to find different strategies to suit all children’s needs
  • Can plan and monitor children’s development effectively to ensure that they reach certain targets
  • Must be trustworthy and always adhere to confidentiality
  • Is fully supportive of the strong Christian ethos of our school
