What skills and experience we're looking for

A new and exciting opportunity for a passionate early years teacher has arisen within our Primary school. The Headteacher and Governors at St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an experienced, motivated, committed and highly effective Teacher to join our outstanding team. You will be an invaluable member of our school as you welcome, support and nurture our youngest pupils as they continue their educational journey. Our Early Years was rated as outstanding by Ofsted (June 24)

What we are looking for:

  • A practising Catholic or a person willing to support the Catholic ethos of our school
  • An experienced inspirational teacher who motivates all children to do their very best
  • A commitment to ensuring that every child will flourish and reach their full potential
  • A passion for phonics and early reading, with the possibility of leading Phonics/Reading across the school
  • An enthusiastic team player who is willing to share ideas and expertise
  • Keen to develop their own teaching and try out new initiatives
  • Excellent knowledge in planning and delivering the early years curriculum (Development Matters)
  • A consistently good or outstanding teacher, skilled at building up positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
