Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
- Adapt teaching methods to respond to the strengths and needs of all children, ensuring they are supported and challenged appropriately
- Effectively use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform future planning
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment, with clear rules and high expectations for behaviour
- Contribute to the design and delivery of a dynamic and enriching curriculum within the relevant subject area(s)
- Actively participate in the wider life and ethos of the school, building positive relationships with colleagues and parents
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for teaching
- The ability to inspire children
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience in a subject leadership role
- Enthusiasm for working with a year group partner
- Proven track record of driving pupil progress and attainment
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
