Class Teacher job summary
An exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to be part of creating a new special school.
The Eden Academy Trust are looking to appoint a Class Teacher for Grand Union Village School.
An understanding of early childhood development and/or experience of teaching in an Early Years setting are desirable. Experience of teaching pupils with additional needs is not essential; being creative, flexible and open to learning is.
Grand Union Village
An 80-place primary school for children 4 - 11 years with severe learning difficulties, physical and complex needs, including autism. Based on Ballinger Way, Hayes, Northolt. UB5 6GG.
The school is designed to accommodate the latest developments in child-centred learning and therapy provision for children including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory provision and purpose-built therapy rooms, which will provide additional learning and sensory opportunities for our pupils.
A bespoke induction programme for new teachers to the Trust will be offered. This includes comprehensive training for those embarking on a new career and a wide range of professional development opportunities for experienced teachers. You also will have an opportunity to work collaboratively throughout the Eden Academy Trust and alongside our multi-professional team.
