The Meadows School provides
education for young people with special educational needs and disabilities from
the ages of 11 to 19. Our vision is to create
learning environments where every young person is engaged, can be enterprising
and successful in their community, both today and in their future adult life.

develop their independence, skills, expertise, interests and vocations.

The Meadows School is looking to
appoint an ambitious and dynamic qualified Teacher, who will continue to teach
and inspire students, acting as a model for others, maintaining and developing
the high standards expected at The Meadows.

You will possess the energy and
vison to achieve the best outcomes for our students and a strong teaching and
learning focus. You will be able to demonstrate skills which motivate and

The Meadows School provides
education to over 125 students. The school has strong links with local colleges
and employers and achieves excellent outcomes in terms of destinations and
preparation for adulthood.

The School is
constantly improving thanks to an exceptional team of teachers and support
staff. The school has developed an effective partnership with its feeder
primary, Springfield School, making the best use of resources and providing an
enhanced level of support to families. The school is also part of the Manor
Hall Academy Trust. A special school Academy Trust consisting of 14 specialist
schools from across, Staffordshire, the Midlands and soon the North West. The
Trust works on a collaborative model, ensuring that every school gets the most
from being a member.

This position is subject to appropriate vetting procedures including a
criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB)

reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment
process.
