The successful candidates will:

Main purpose of the job:Take responsibility for the learning, progress and achievement of all pupils in your class, ensuring equality of opportunity for every learner.
Lead, develop and champion a non‑core subject across the school, drawing on secure classroom practice and previous subject leadership experience (or equivalent) to drive standards, curriculum development and staff confidence.
Take responsibility for celebrating progress and high standards through the effective organisation and development of the learning environment.
Demonstrate consistently high expectations in both conduct and professional practice, modelling the values and ethos of Reginald Mitchell Primary School.
Build positive, respectful relationships with pupils, treating them with dignity and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
Work proactively and collaboratively with pupils, parents/carers, colleagues, governors and external agencies in the best interests of children.
Act in accordance with statutory frameworks, including the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and the Teacher Standards (2012).
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at all times.
