Smallberry Green Primary School is a happy, caring school with a very positive ethos and friendly nature. We pride ourselves on the community feel to our school where all members of staff get to know each child individually, encouraging them at all times to ‘be the best that they can be’. This is demonstrated in the impeccable behaviour our children demonstrate not only within the school building but also on the numerous visits and trips our children engage in.
At Smallberry Green, every day is an adventure. We believe that exciting learning opportunities should happen everywhere and we take great delight in creating memorable experiences for our children in and out of the classroom. Our rich curriculum is another feature of our school that we are really proud of.
Our building inside and outside is really bright, spacious and fun! The classrooms, corridors and communal areas have recently been refurbished to provide the most comfortable, inviting areas for the children to flourish. Our outdoor area, is a real asset of our school – it contains an adobe hut, field, football pitch, basketball area, sheltered areas for performing, sand-pit and much more!
At Smallberry Green Primary School, we encourage families to become involved in all aspects of their children’s learning and invite parents into school at every opportunity. We really value the diverse cultural community within our school and regularly celebrate it through ‘special assemblies’ and visitors.
Our children are taught caring values of respect, good manners, thoughtfulness and kindness, alongside that of resilience and ‘aiming high’. At Smallberry, each of our pupils is ‘delightful’ in a unique way and we feel extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful school community.
