Christopher Rawlins CE Primary School is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Class Teacher to join our Upper Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with motivated and engaged children in Years 5 and 6, at an exciting time in our school’s development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils in Years 5 and 6.

• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment rooted in mutual respect and high expectations.

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and share excellent teaching practises.

• Support the holistic development of children by promoting their learning, welfare, and personal growth.

• Contribute actively to the school’s values-led ethos and community spirit.

  Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 or a strong understanding of the curriculum and developmental needs of this age group.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  Desirable Qualities:

  • A positive and caring attitude with a genuine passion for children’s learning and wellbeing.

  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a professional team.
