Class Teacher job summary
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a KS2 Teacher to support a designated cohort of pupils to make good or better progress though high quality and effective learning and teaching within own class.
This is achieved through taking responsibility for the learning of pupils - planning, delivering, and assessing their learning whilst showing ambition to develop as an outstanding teacher. They play a key role in realising the overall vision, strategic development and direction of the Academy within capacity of Class Teacher.
They will work towards typically good and outstanding lessons that achieve good pupil progress over time. They carry out the duties of a teacher as set out in the most recent School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document, and fulfil the duties of Leading Learning within the Key Stage.
They teach children through a high quality and appropriate curriculum which meets the requirements of the Foundation Stage or National Curriculum and which ensures good or better progress for pupils.

Wallscourt Farm Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). Wallscourt Farm Academy is a diverse learning community situated in Cheswick Village in South Gloucestershire.
