We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide general classroom cover across our supportive and welcoming primary school in Sutton, Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in education, refine their classroom management skills, and contribute to the success of our pupils in both KS1 and KS2.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons and supervise pupils during PPA time or short-term absences.
  • Adapt to cover various subjects and year groups based on the school’s needs.
  • Ensure a positive and well-managed learning environment, promoting good behavior in line with school policies.
  • Support pupils in accessing a creative, broad, and balanced curriculum.

There may also be opportunities for longer-term roles for the right candidate.

  • Has prior experience in schools (advantageous but not essential).
  • Possesses strong communication and classroom management skills.
