Willow Dene is a special school for children aged 2-19 with a wide range of special needs. We are a forward thinking and innovative school that is committed to providing an outstanding education for children with a wide range of learning needs. We have been awarded NAS advanced accreditation and are a MOVE centre of excellence. We have designed and implemented our own ground breaking personalised assessment system. Willow Dene is part of a unique and exciting eleven school federation, enabling us to forge meaningful mainstream links that benefit both children and staff.

We have been judged by Ofsted as "Outstanding". The report recognised that ‘all staff are determined to give every child who comes through the school’s doors the best possible start in life’ and ‘leaders have successfully created a culture where staff feel valued and supported’.
