Classroom Teacher (Early Years/KS1) job summary

We are looking to appoint a full-time teacher on a 1 year fixed term contract to join the teaching team at Elmtree Infant and Nursery School in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate should have Early Years / Key Stage 1 experience. This post is starting in September 2026.

We are looking for a teacher who is potentially in their 3rd or 4th year of teaching, but happy to consider any ranges in the Main Pay Scale.

We are looking for an experienced teacher with a passion for education. You will want to put pupils at the heart of everything you do. You’ll have a sound knowledge of current educational pedagogy along with the ability to develop the confidence, independence and self-esteem of pupils.
