Classroom Teacher job summary

Job Information:

Key Stage 2 Teacher M1 - M6 Full Time or Part Time Start date :Tuesday 1st September 2026 - initially for one year based on pupil numbers

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with experience of teaching in KS2

• Is a team player, able to work collaboratively with others

• Has high expectations in terms of achievement and behaviour

• Is enthusiastic and motivated

• Is able to facilitate rich learning experiences for all children

• Is able to deliver a creative thinking-skills based curriculum, that optimises learning

• Has high expectations and aspirations for all children.

• Is able to model excellent practice, give advice and feedback to colleagues and can lead moderation of pupils' work.

• Delivers consistently good classroom teaching and a commitment to supporting others and develop high quality teaching and learning for pupils of all abilities

• Can work well as a member of both the Key Stage, and the whole school team.

• Demonstrates initiative

• Is committed to rapid school improvement to raise standards.

• Has boundless enthusiasm with a keen sense of humour!
