Classroom Teacher English and Maths (4 days a week) job summary

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of English and Maths to join our dedicated team at Castlefield Campus. This part-time role involves responsibility for Key Stage 4 and is based on a 4-day work week.


  • A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.
  • Experience of teaching English & Math to Key Stage 4 pupils.
  • Excellent understanding of assessment in English & Math, using this to improve outcomes for all learners.
  • Experience of planning high interest activities to make English and Math come alive to this SEMH cohort.
  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as a team.
  • The ability to work towards deadlines.
  • The ability to motivate both students and your peers.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Experience innovating to deliver the curriculum.

Please note that the advertised salary is based on a full-time equivalent. The actual salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for 22 hours per week. The salary advertised includes £2,787 per annum SEN Allowance.
