We are seeking driven, reflective, and passionate classroom practitioners for both Primary and in Secondary as a teacher of English and PSHE, who wants to make a real difference. This is a unique opportunity to teach within small groups, where relationships come first and teaching can be truly responsive, creative, and individualised.

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering an engaging curriculum across primary phases as well as English and PSHE, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional needs such as ADHD, ASD, and communication difficulties. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), allowing you to work holistically and make a lasting impact.

This roles offer far more than a standard teaching post. As part of a growing and ambitious school, expanding from 80 to 100 pupils over the coming years. You will have genuine opportunities to influence the direction of the curriculum, contribute to building the identity of the school, and progress professionally as the provision develops. Our Trust comprises of 19 schools, 3 Colleges, 15 Primaries, and one All Through SEMH Special school. Established in 2018. We are situated in beautiful Devon on the out the outskirts of the stunning Dartmoor National Park. The schools vary in size and are all unique. The successful candidate will be required to come to DMAT Central Offices to complete mandatory training.

Training Details:

Location: Okehampton College Skills Centre, Okehampton, EX20 1PW

Purpose: To provide comprehensive training on company policies, procedures, and systems necessary for successful integration into the role.

Training Schedule: Daily sessions from 9am to 4pm, with breaks provided.
