St Barnabas Church of England provides a loving, caring, Christian community for children aged 4-7, where each child and their family is valued, nurtured and given the opportunity to flourish.
St Barnabas prides itself on nurturing the whole child so good academic progress goes hand in hand with an emphasis on developing well-being, independence and self esteem. We are a growth mindset school and the children will tell you that mistakes make their brains grow and that there is no such thing as 'can't'.
We are proud of our close links with St Barnabas Church and we also work very closely with Freeman's Endowed Church of England Junior Academy, which is where almost all of our children go for the next stage of their education. Additionally, we have been a part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust since 2014, alongside 32 other primary schools in Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire.
PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies within their care. Consequently, the Trust provides vast opportunities for further professional development, alongside wider professional and personal support.
