What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a classroom teacher to join our school. They need to be passionateabout learning and committed to driving forward outcomes for all pupils. We are looking for a candidate who can work as an effective team member, planning and delivering the curriculum.

The successful candidate will be:

● an excellent, innovative and creative teacher;

● a practitioner who understands the purpose of systematic synthetic phonics andrecognises the centrality of reading as a gateway to access educational and personal achievement;

● passionate about meeting children’s individual learning needs and committed topromoting learning where disadvantage is present;

● committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers, who grow inself-regulation and self-esteem;

● committed to achieving the highest possible standards of work and behaviour;

● a good communicator, who is caring, flexible and approachable and committed todeveloping parental and community engagement.
