What skills and experience we're looking for
Jacksdale Primary & Nursery School is seeking to appoint a high-quality, motivated teacher to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis The successful candidate will be teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 – single form entry) from Easter 2026. Due to current fluctuations in pupil numbers, the school is unable to offer a permanent contract at this time and the position is therefore being advertised on a temporary basis. However, should pupil numbers stabilise or increase, there may be the opportunity for the contract to be extended for a further year or become permanent, subject to school roll projections.

- Is willing to contribute positively to the wider life of the school
- Has experience of leading or supporting a subject area (an interest in Music, RE or Science would be advantageous)

This Role Would Suit a Teacher Who Has Completed Their ECT
This post would particularly suit a teacher who has successfully completed their Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction and is now looking to further develop their practice within a supportive, collaborative school environment.
