Classroom Teacher - Key Stage 1 job summary

Bomere Heath CE Primary School, a school within Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, are looking for a confident and knowledgeable teacher to join the school staff team.

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Fixed-term to 31/08/2027 in the first instance

Payscale: Main Pay Range, Points 1 to 4

The post is from September 2026 in Key Stage 1. We are looking for a teacher who strives for everyday excellence and who is open to adapting their practice to reflect current research.

The successful candidate will have:

- The ability to further develop and enhance the high standards of teaching and learning at Bomere Heath CE Primary School

- High expectations of all children

- A conscientious attitude to their work and be well organised

- Strong behaviour management skills to develop effective relationships with children

- Knowledge of effective assessment practices

- Excellent subject knowledge and an enthusiasm to share this with children and colleagues
