Job Overview
Classsroom teacher will deliver effective, engaging lessons that help all pupils make good progress. They will create a positive classroom environment, maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Teach in a way that meets the needs of all learners.
- Create a safe, positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess and track pupil progress to inform next steps in learning.
- Provide clear feedback to support pupil improvement.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, presentation and effort.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on planning and curriculum.
- Contribute to staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
- Support pupils’ wellbeing and personal development.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies.
