Classroom Teacher job summary

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and inspiring Primary School Teacher to join our friendly team on a full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a brilliant teacher to join our strong, professional and friendly team in September 2026. We are able to offer an early start for Early Careers Teachers, meaning you'll be able to join us in the summer term and get to know our school and pupils before the start of the new academic year.

You will play a vital role in the school, delivering high quality teaching and learning to our wonderful pupils. As a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' progress and wellbeing, contributing positively to the whole school ethos.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, we are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning and who shares our commitment to ensuring every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and well‑structured lessons that meet the needs of all pupils as well as track pupil progress, providing timely feedback to support learning
  • Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership to maintain high standards and communicate effectively with parents and carers on progress and wellbeing
  • Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and statutory expectations
  • Maintain accurate records, including assessments, reports and planning documentation
