Classroom Teaching Assistant job summary
Millthorpe School is seeking to recruit a Classroom Teaching Assistant to work in our successful Inclusion Department. The successful applicant will support teaching, learning and managing social and emotional needs by working with individuals or small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff. The role may also involve responsibility for some learning activities or interventions.
The person we are looking for will have experience that is appropriate to working with children in a learning environment, and an awareness of children/young person’s development and learning. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with a range of staff, children, young people and their families and carers.
