Cleaner job summary
We are looking for a highly-motivated and committed cleaner to provide daily cleaning services and supportive duties, ensuring a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained across the site.
The hours for the role are Monday to Friday from 3.30pm - 5.30pm (10 hours per week), term time plus two weeks (40 working weeks per year). There is the possibility of additional hours in school holidays to complete specialised cleaning programmes.

About you:
As our cleaner you would be required to support the maintenance of a clean academy environment, to undertake the necessary cleaning duties, maintenance and procedures, following systems and policy to promote high standards of cleanliness across the academy.
An enhanced disclosure and barring check will be a requirement of the post.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Undertaking cleaning duties which may include dusting, emptying bins, picking up litter, sweeping, washing, vacuuming, scrubbing, buffing, polishing, toilet cleaning in areas of the establishment.
- Undertaking duties to support the Operations Manager where required.
- Completing specialised cleaning programmes during the school closures or other designated periods where required.
- You may be required to undertake first aid duties.
