What we’re looking for
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our school's cleaning staff. As a School Cleaner at Shortstown Primary School, you will have a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure that the school premises are clean and accessible and meet the agreed hygiene and cleaning standards.
Carry out allocated tasks in accordance with the cleaning schedules.
Undertake non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed by the Site Manager / Cleaning Team Lead.
Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in a working condition and report any deficiencies to the Site Manager or Cleaning Team Lead.
Use cleaning materials appropriately and economically.
Ensure that cleaning cupboards/lockers are maintained in a tidy, clean and organised state.
Report the need for replenishment of cleaning materials as and when required.
Position Details
Position 1 - Monday – Friday 15:30 – 18:00 12.5 hours per week
Position 2 - 1 hour per week between Monday – Friday 15:30 – 18:00
Term-time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks)
