SS. Mary and John’s Catholic Primary Academy are seeking an Academy Cleaner.

With a flexible approach you will carry out under reasonable direction the appropriate duties in the case of buildings and the teaching environment, in matters of safety, cleanliness and comfort, conducive to the working needs of pupils, staff and other site users to SS Mary and John’s Catholic Primary Academy.

We have a skilled and supportive team of staff, offer wider professional development experiences and the opportunity to work in a progressive secure Academy. We are part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
