The University of Kent Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaner to join our site team at Brompton Academy.
You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will ensure that allocated areas of the academy are cleaned to a high standard in line with Trust expectations.
Hours of Work- 19 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- Friday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
- Term time only
Your duties will include general cleaning tasks such as:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
- Ensuring toilets and washrooms are kept clean and fully stocked
- Supporting the site team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hardworking with a positive and flexible attitude
- Able to follow health and safety procedures
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
