What skills and experience we're looking for

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting and wiping surfaces, and ensuring all designated areas are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic. You will be responsible for emptying litter and recycling bins and disposing of waste in accordance with school procedures. You will clean staff and children's facilities, including toilets, wash areas, and communal spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times. You will also replenish cleaning supplies where required. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting any potential hazards or maintenance concerns on the school site and taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure a safe environment. You will work as part of the wider school team and have the opportunity to support and uphold the aims, ethos, and values of the school, helping to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
