About the role
Park Grove Primary Academy is looking to recruit a cleaner to work as part of the school cleaning team, supporting and assisting colleagues where appropriate.
The hours for this role are 10 hours per week, working Monday - Thursday 4.00pm - 6.30pm. This is a permanent position and the hours are to be worked during the school term time plus two weeks during the school holidays.
The aim of the post is to provide a good quality cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school, resulting in a clean and healthy environment for pupils and staff. Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to;
- Emptying waste bins
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms
- Wiping down and dusting furniture
- Maintaining office / reception area
Job requirements
You will be able to work well within a team, understanding the importance of working together to achieve the highest standards.
You will be able to communicate and relate well to children, other staff members and the wider school community.
You will have fantastic time keeping skills and be a reliable member of the team.
Experience would be beneficial however it is not essential as full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
