Cleaner - Foley Infant Academy or Brindley Heath Junior Academy

Term time plus two weeks - 15 hours per week

Monday to Friday 15:00 - 18:00

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic team player to help ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school and that security is maintained at all times to support and safeguard the welfare of all persons using the school premises.

The successful candidate will need to be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job. Possess good individual and team skills and be ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges.

Our cleaning operative will need to be flexible at all times and will be required to work as and when the school requires a deeper clean during school shutdown periods.

Please note annual leave must be taken during school holidays.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a willingness to learn and undertake any training as required
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be able to establish positive working relationships with staff

Previous experience of cleaning, safe use of chemicals and using cleaning machinery would be desirable but isn’t essential as full training will be given.
