The Creative Learning Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint a cleaner
‘Nurturing the Champion within’
We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to work in our friendly school. You will work as part as a team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children’s learning environment is always clean. This is an extremely important and valued role in our school - care and attention to detail is key.
Greenhall is a Special School for children aged 2-5 years. We also have a Governor Run Nursery on site which is open 51 weeks per year. A child-centred approach is at the heart of all that we do.
We would like you to have:
Essential
- Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning
- Ability to work under own initiative without supervision
- Aware of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school
- Aware of importance of hygiene in the work place
- Ability to work on your own and to work as part of a team
- Reliable
Desirable
- Understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education and their responsibilities for Safeguarding
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and materials
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Understanding of the School’s ethos and values
- Understanding of school policies and willing and able to work within these
- Has a ‘Can do attitude’
We are offering the opportunity to work in a welcoming school with a committed, enthusiastic and highly dedicated staff team and a very supportive Governing Body. Training and support will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are successful in their duties.

Salary Range: £12.85 per hour (pay award pending)
Hours: 12.5 hours per week, 5am-7.30am, Monday to Friday, Whole Year.
