Cleaner job summary

We are looking for a cleaner to join our lovely maintenance team at our lovely school, this new position is term time only plus 2 weeks which is 41 weeks per year and 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning.
  • Washing.
  • Sweeping.
  • Vacuum cleaning.
  • Emptying of litter bins.
  • Polishing and dusting of designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas).
  • Polishing fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment.
  • Cleaning sickness and bodily fluids when required, using correct PPE, chemicals and equipment.
  • Storage and usage of chemicals in accordance with COSH Regulations 2002
