Are you passionate about hygiene and cleanliness and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in an educational setting? Joseph Leckie Academy is seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaner to join our team.

You will assist in providing comprehensive cleaning support to the Academy by undertaking a range of tasks as assigned to you by a Cleaning Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the academy’s environment is clean, hygienic, and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the academy, including classrooms, offices, common areas, toilets, and washrooms.
  • Support the health, safety, and wellbeing of the academy community through effective cleaning practices.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning after school events or activities as needed.
  • Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills
