What skills and experience we're looking for

Job Purpose

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across our school facilities. You will be an important part of our team, responsible for creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This includes routine cleaning and health and safety checks. You will work as part of a supportive team to uphold the high standards of the Academy.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general cleaning duties, including deep cleans classrooms, corridors, and toilets.
Ensure spillages are immediately cleaned and areas made safe.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.

Safely operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals according to instructions.
Refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries (e.g., handwash, toilet paper).
Check and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Serve as a positive role model to students, encouraging a respectful and responsible school environment.
