We are looking for a dedicated cleaner to join our school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our school is a welcoming, secure, and well-maintained space where children can thrive.
This role is all year round and working 10 hours per week, Monday - Friday 15.45-17.45, with consolidated hours during the school closure periods, e.g. school holidays. It is temporary until August 31st in the first instance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning classrooms and shared spaces
- Cleaning toilets
- Sweeping
- Vacuum cleaning
- Mopping
- Emptying of classroom/office rubbish bins
- Polishing fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment
- Cleaning sickness and bodily fluids when required, using correct PPE, chemicals and equipment
- Storage and usage of chemicals in accordance with COSH Regulations
