Cleaner job summary

We are looking to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic cleaner to join our site support team in our small and friendly village school. You will be working as part of a team undertaking cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children have a clean learning environment. This post is 15:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday, term time only plus inset days.

The successful candidate will be:

- able to maintain the school's high level of cleanliness

- clean all rooms, corridors, toilets, hall and other areas throughout the school as assigned

- able to work constructively as part of a team

- enthusiastic and flexible

This position involves medium level lifting/carrying/physical exertion. Therefore you will need to be physically fit and able to lift/move chairs and tables, with the assistance of another member or staff as required.
