Cleaner job summary

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic cleaner to join our premises team for seven hours per week on a Thursday and Friday. The hours of work will be 3pm – 6:30pm during term time plus 2 days during the summer holiday. There may also be some extra work on non-contact days which will be claimed as extra hours when needed.

Reporting to the school cleaning supervisor, you will be responsible for the general cleaning of designated areas within the school. We are looking for someone who:

  • Can work under their own initiative
  • Has high regard for the standards of cleanliness and safety within the school
  • Can be flexible and adaptable
  • Is prepared to attend training as required
  • Preferably has previous experience of working in a school environment
