Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery School is looking to recruit a flexible, hardworking and highly motivated individual to undertake cleaning duties within the school. You should be an appropriately skilled person who is committed to achieving a clean, safe and well organised environment for our school community.
As a cleaner you will work collaboratively with the Site Manager to deliver high quality cleaning services which forms an essential part of the school environment. You will be driven to maintain high standards which will help to enhance the children’s learning experience.
The successful candidate will be:
- Appropriately skilled and committed to achieving a clean, safe and well organised environment for our school community.
- Be a team player; working together with other school staff and uphold the values and ethos of the school.
We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join the team, working 16 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. We welcome candidates to apply for both positions.

Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery school is a small one form entry school in Plymouth. We pride ourselves on having a village school feeling in the city. We have great relationships with children and families ensuring a holistic approach to learning. Our dedicated staff have formed close working relationships to foster growth and collaboration. We are situated close to local woodland where we regularly have forest school sessions and our outdoor space provides perfect opportunities for outdoor learning.
